Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow; no tomorrow, no tomorrow
Despite being so fragile, so transient... the years and months composing ten billion years ...are, to the point of sorrow, endearing
Locations
Other than modern day Japan where the story initially begins and also ends, here are the key locations in ImaSoko.
- Heliwood: Is where most of the story takes place. It is a huge, multistoried fortress. Heliwood is all metal and is made like a maze. Only a few rooms are nice, LaLa-Ru's, Abelia's, and Hamdo's, the rest are cramped, bunked soldiers quarters. Heliwood can take to air, but water is required to make steam to provide the energy source.
- Zali Barth: Is an isolated town in the middle of the desert. The town is built into cliff walls and within a cavern there is a limited supply of water. Unlike Heliwood, Zeli Barth is peaceful and green growing. The people mostly farm, and children orphaned by the war along with men and women who managed to escape Heliwood soldier's find refuge here.
Technology
The future is filler with technology, below are the key devices used in the future.
- Bound System: is used for time travel. It is what brought Shuu and Sara 10 billion years into the future and what returns Shuu to his time.
- Super Corpuscle Proton Cannon : A huge cannon attached to Heliwood. It is only used once in episode 3, but its powerful laser annihilates the enemies ships.
