Episode 13: Now and Then, Here and There

Shuu grabs the gun and fires a shot at Nabuca feet he then throws the gun at Nabuca. Tabur comes by and sees Shuu. He holds a gun to Shuu's head. Nabuca stops him, saying he doesn't want to fight anymore. Tabur approaches the children to shoot them but an announcement comes to gather those alive to become Heliwood's slaves. Heliwood takes to the air again.

Hamdo is insanely yelling at Abelia there are many more plotting against him and the must die. He asks Abelia to fetch LaLa-Ru.

Everyone from Zali Barth is put into he same cell.

Tabur tells Nabuca, who is resting against the wall, he wants to talk to him. Tabur tells him the last town they were in bombs were left and the town destroyed. He tells Nabuca the same happened to their town and there is nothing for them to return to. He tells Nabuca they are the strongest now, and Nabuca calls him crazy. Tabur shoots him in the side. Nabuca falls over the side of the walkway.

Just before Sis dies she begs Sara not to hate the child within her because the no child is born for the sake of being hated. Sara cries over her body, holding Sis' hand into her tummy.

LaLa-Ru glares unhappily at Hamdo. He tells her he will kill the prisoners if she refuses.

The kids gets Shuu's attention, it is Nabuca returning his stick. He tells Shuu he must go back to where he came from, back to where he belongs, and dies. He cradles his head through the cell bars and cries. He takes up his stick gets the keys, knocks out the guard. He tell the kids to open up all the cells with the keys and ties his stick to his hand with Nabuca's scarf.

Shuu shoves pasts Tabur and the other soldiers and they go after him. Shots are heard by Hamdo ad the boys shoot at Shuu. Tabur shoots onto the glass floor and its breaks, leaving Shuu hanging from the edge directly above Abelia, Hamdo and LaLa-Ru. As Tabur prepares to shot Shuu, LaLa-Ru activates her pendant, sending water shooting up at Shuu and Tabur, pulling Shuu down in an air bubble. LaLa-Ru's attack had done considerable damage to the Heliwood's operating system.

The Zali Barth men attack the soldiers as the children cry over Sis. Sara tells them the must go.

Hamdo fires blindly hitting Abelia in arm. Hamdo flees. Heliwood is going to go down. LaLa-Ru asks Shuu to take her to the top of Heliwood.

Sara holds the children and gathers the child soldiers are well.

LaLa-Ru uses the full power of her pendant, sending a ball of light into the air that rains down as water flooding Heliwood. Tabur is drowned. As Sara cross a bridge, a child is taken in. From nowhere Kazaam grabs the child and hands him to Sara, but is washed away in the process.

From the intercom Hamdo calls fanatically for Abelia more and more water enters in he is smashed by colliding waves of water and drowns. His body floating past a glass screen for Abelia to see.

A rainbow appears over Heliwood. The water has formed rivers and seas. From the top of the tilted Heliwood. Shuu and LaLa-Ru watch the sunset. She asks if they can watch it together someday and she fades away.

Sara says she will stay in the present world with the orphans and he unborn child. He tells Sara he still thinks he is right-- as long as your alive, no matter how bad it gets, something good will happen. Abelia prepares the bound system to send Shuu back, a bubble of light envelops him and he is gone. The men move to shoot Abelia but Sara stops them and smiles.

Shuu reappears in the same place near the smoke stacks where he first saw LaLa-ru. It is still evening.
